Belém do Pará was the first Brazilian city to receive a Unit of the AVAPE Network. The partnership involves Cerom - Centro Educacional Ronaldo Miranda, through the International Technical Cooperation Program, in partnership with the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and the Multilateral Investment Fund (FUMIN).

The Center operates according to AVAPE methodology in professional rehabilitation, training and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

Cerom is not-for-profit entity supported by the Ionpa – the Pará Center for Neurological Organization Rehabilitation (Centro de Reabilitação Organização Neurológica do Pará Ltda), with 20 years’ experience in providing rehabilitation services focused on health and education.
