AVAPE works for social inclusion of persons with disabilities through social programs and projects intended for prevention, diagnoses, clinical and professional rehabilitation, professional training and placement, community programs and management training for social organizations, in addition to cultural and recreational activities. Besides offering assistance to persons with all kinds of disabilities, from the newly-born to the elderly, AVAPE also works to defend the rights of this segment of the population which today totals 27 million Brazilians. Its service units are adapted and equipped with resources and technology, in addition to a multidisciplinary team that looks after persons with disabilities. Committed to the quality and excellence of the services it provides, it maintains exchange programs with Brazilian and international institutions, with the aim of enhancing and recycling its professionals. |
